At Treetops we are very fortunate to have interactive whiteboards in every classroom and have all Apple Mac computers that can also be used as regular PC’s. All pupils study ICT for at least 1 ½ hours per week in dedicated lessons. They also use ICT extensively in all other curriculum areas. We cover a wide range of topics and activities during this time using all the standard Microsoft programs and a wide variety of others including Internet, music, simulation and control software.
Pupils also have access to a wide range of technology including digital cameras/camcorders, scanners and robots for control. Lessons are fun and all pupils are encouraged to become independent in their use of a computer and are encouraged to participate in discussions and a wide variety of activities.
